Twin electro-welded castors

Iberruedas has optimised and extended its range of products for heavy-duty applications by introducing a new range of electro-welded brackets (EEG-MHD, EEG-HD, EEG-EHD) to suit paired wheels, with capacities up to 3500 daN suitable to accomodate between 100 - 250 mm wheels.

Common technical specifications:
- Forged-steel fixing plate with integrated pin
- Fork sides shaped by drawing
- Swivel action: one axle ball bearing and one taper roller bearing
- Equipped with lubricator and nut anti-loosening system

1) EEG-MHD brackets

Suitable for use with moderate loads (up to 900 kg) but under heavy-duty operating conditions, with side impacts and high speeds.
- Finish: electrolytic galvanisation (ensures compliance with RoHS directive)
- Available diameters: 100-125 mm - Capacity: 600-900 daN with 135x110 mm top-plate
- Can be used with Iberruedas wheels of the series: 62, 63, 64, 72 with aluminium centre.

2) EEG-HD brackets

Suitable for use with loads up to 2000 kg and in heavy-duty operating conditions, with side impacts and high speeds.
- Finish: dark green powder coating (ensures compliance with RoHS directive)
- Available diameters: from 125 to 200 mm
- Capacity: from 1100 to 1600 daN with 175x140 mm top-plate; up to 2000 daN with 200x160 mm top-plate
- Can be used with Iberruedas wheels of the series: 62, 63, 64, 68 P, 72.

3) EEG-EHD brackets

Suitable for use with loads up to 3500 kg and in heavy-duty operating conditions, with side impacts and high speeds.
- Finish: dark green powder coating (ensures compliance with RoHS directive)
- Available diameters: 200-250 mm – Capacity: from 3000 to 3500 daN with 200x160 mm top-plate
- Can be used with Iberruedas wheels of the series: 63, 64

The new range of EEG brackets will replace and improve the current range of blue painted EEG brackets; the blue EEG brackets will therefore only be available until stocks deplete.

The range of EEG brackets is expected to be integrated and extended over the coming months, with the introduction of new brackets suitable for diameters of over 250 mm.
